I didn’t realize how much I still had to learn about running a real estate business… until I joined Real Broker. One of the biggest mistakes I made early on was growing my team too fast before building the operational support around it. In trying to support everyone, I put all the pressure on myself — and it eventually diluted the value I wanted to bring to the people around me. Moving to Real changed that. Last year I crossed $500,000 in GCI and paid my brokerage roughly $20,000. What surprised me most wasn’t just the numbers — it was realizing how many of the extra fees and splits I once accepted as normal simply disappeared.
